Customer Expectations

The client is expected to clearly explain verbally or in writing what they expect from Cakes by Edith. If a client needs to change colors, flavors, or theme they should contact Cakes by edith immediately. Changes cannot be made less than 3 days prior to their event date.

Cakes by Edith does not make replicas. Exact copies, colors, designs, images, etc. are not guaranteed. Do not place your order if you do not agree with Cakes by Edith having creative freedom with your order.
Cancellations/Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Full Payment or Deposit: When you place an order for a cake, you have the option to pay in full or leave a deposit.

Cancellation Policy: If you decide to cancel your cake order, regardless of how far in advance you placed your order, we do not issue refunds. This policy applies to all cancellations made after the order has been confirmed. This policy applies to cancellations made just minutes after placing the order or at any time thereafter.

Rescheduling: If you need to change the date of your order, we are happy to accommodate this request based on availability. Simply contact us to discuss rescheduling.

In the event the client wishes to cancel their order, the deposit will not be refunded.

Refunds will ONLY be given if Cakes by Edith fails to produce the order in full.

Aesthetic Expectations: We take great care in crafting cakes that reflect your provided inspiration. If you supplied an inspiration picture, our decorators work diligently to match the aesthetic based on that reference. However, please understand that we do not guarantee exact copies or replicas of any design.

Quality Standards: If we determine that the cake decor meets our quality standards and aligns with the overall theme you provided, we will not issue a refund, even if it is not to your liking.

No Obligation for Refunds: Please note that we are not obligated to offer refunds for dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference regarding the appearance of the cake.

Taste is based on personal preference. Refunds will not be given if the client does not like the taste of the product.

Colors are not always exact. Cakes by Edith will work hard to provide the client with similar colors to their theme, but refunds will not be given if the colors do not match exactly.

Scheduled Pickup Time: When you place your order, you will be asked to specify a pickup time for your cake. This time is crucial for us to prepare your order to the highest standard.

Precise Timing: We are committed to having your cake ready at the specified pickup time. However, we kindly ask that you arrive only after the scheduled pickup time. For instance, if your pickup time is set for 4 PM, you are welcome to collect your cake anytime after 4 PM.

No Early Arrivals: Please note that arriving before your designated pickup time can cause an inconvenience to our preparation process. We want to ensure that your cake is in perfect condition when you receive it, and our team requires the allocated time to do so.

Flexibility After Scheduled Time: If you need to adjust your pickup time, please inform us in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

If the client does not wish to accept the product upon delivery or pickup, there will be no refund given, unless the cake is completely damaged by Cakes by Edith.

If you wish to have fresh flowers arranged on your cake, it is your responsibility to supply the flowers.

Post-Setup Precautions – Once the cake assembly/setup is complete at your event venue, Cakes by Edith Bakery is not responsible for any damage to the cake other than damage that occurs as a result of improper construction/production. If your venue is outdoors, it is your responsibility to take the necessary precautions (shading, level ground, insect netting, wind protection, temperature control, etc.) to ensure that the cake remains intact beyond initial setup.

Cake Pickup Disclaimer: You acknowledge that once you have picked up your cake, Cakes by Edith Bakery cannot be held liable for any damage or failure that may occur once the cake leaves our store. Once you have the cake, it is your responsibility to transport it directly to the event venue and not leave it unattended in your vehicle or anywhere outside.

Se espera que el cliente explique claramente, verbalmente o por escrito, sus expectativas de Cakes by Edith. Si necesita cambiar colores, sabores o temática, debe contactar a Cakes by Edith de inmediato.

Los cambios no se pueden realizar con menos de 3 días de antelación a la fecha del evento. Cakes by Edith no realiza réplicas. No se garantiza la exactitud de las copias, colores, diseños, imágenes, etc. No realice su pedido si no está de acuerdo con que Cakes by Edith tenga libertad creativa.
Cancellations/Refunds

Horario de recogida programado: Al realizar su pedido, se le solicitará que especifique un horario de recogida para su pastel. Este horario es crucial para que podamos preparar su pedido con la máxima calidad.

Horario preciso: Nos comprometemos a tener su pastel listo a la hora de recogida especificada. Sin embargo, le rogamos que llegue solo después de la hora de recogida programada. Por ejemplo, si su hora de recogida es a las 16:00, puede recoger su pastel a partir de esa hora.

No se permiten llegadas anticipadas: Tenga en cuenta que llegar antes de la hora de recogida acordada puede causar inconvenientes en nuestro proceso de preparación. Queremos asegurarnos de que su pastel esté en perfectas condiciones al recibirlo, y nuestro equipo necesita el tiempo asignado para ello.

Si desea que se coloquen flores frescas en su pastel, es su responsabilidad proporcionarlas.

Precauciones posteriores al montaje: Una vez finalizado el montaje del pastel en el lugar de su evento, Cakes by Edith Bakery no se responsabiliza de ningún daño que sufra el pastel, salvo los causados por una construcción o producción inadecuada. Si el lugar es al aire libre, es su responsabilidad tomar las precauciones necesarias (sombra, terreno nivelado, mosquitera, protección contra el viento, control de temperatura, etc.) para garantizar que el pastel permanezca intacto después del montaje inicial.

Aviso legal para la recogida del pastel: Usted reconoce que, una vez recogido su pastel, Cakes by Edith Bakery no se responsabiliza de ningún daño o falla que pueda ocurrir una vez que el pastel salga de nuestra tienda. Una vez que reciba el pastel, es su responsabilidad transportarlo directamente al lugar del evento y no dejarlo desatendido en su vehículo ni en ningún lugar al aire libre.
